Purple Mark Making Folded Book Look Through

I’ve been experimenting with mark making. I had some purple watered down acrylic paint left over from another project so I thought I’d use it. I worked this as one large sheet to begin with and then folded it and added details to each page. I used the wrong edge of a paint brush to add the scribbles and a small amount of white acrylic paint.

This project was just an experimentation, but I’m pleased with the result. It’s made me realise that I prefer working on a bigger scale, because I feel like there is less pressure to make everything perfect, but I like looking at work on a smaller scale, so making these small folded books is really perfect for me. So much so, that I’m already starting a new one!
