Lake District Sketchbook Look Through

For the past week, I have been on holiday in the Lake District. It’s an area in the north west of England which my family has visited almost every year since I can remember. As the name suggests, it’s an area of countryside with lakes and mountains and beautiful scenery and I love it.

I took a sketchbook with me this year so I could document ideas and what I saw while out and about. I also took watercolours out with me, which is not a medium I’d usually choose to use, but it gave me a chance to try something new and it ended up being pretty successful.

I thought I’d share with you what I did. I’ve also put a few photographs I took alongside, so you have some references for what I was sketching.
