Art Marks: A 30 Day Challenge Look Through
I finally managed to complete Rae Missigman’s Art Marks: A 30 Day Challenge! I started it a bit late, which is why I’m getting around to
sharing it with you so late. It was supposed to run between 15th
January and 15th February, but I didn’t end up starting until
halfway through.
I had a lot of fun with it! I always enjoy the chance to
work in new ways and try new things and this was no exception. I have done some
mark making in the past, but this time I was working in a style that was very
different to how I would normally work. Because of that, I think I used the
prompts a little more literally that I perhaps needed to, but that just allowed
me to try learning some new marks. Towards the end of the project, I think I
got better at incorporating my own style into the new style I was working in,
to create something that was more ‘me’.
The journal I used was a scrap paper journal I made in a previous post.
