Iceland Sketchbook Look Through and Photographs

On Friday, I got back from travelling around Iceland for 10 days. We went all the way around the island and saw so many amazing and inspiring things. I had always wanted to go, after learning about it during lessons about volcanoes and tectonic activity in school, and so it was such a dream to get to experience what it was actually like first hand. It surprised me a lot, as it wasn’t like I imagined in a lot of ways, but met and surpassed my expectations.

Touring Iceland in 10 days meant that we had a lot of things to see and do in a day, which made the days very long, and we were always moving from one place to the next. It meant that I didn’t have as much free time as I had hoped I would do to as much art as I wanted. I found that collaging was a really easy thing to do and that is mostly what is in my sketchbook from the holiday. However, unusually for me, I took a lot of photos, so I thought I would share them with you as well.

It was such an amazing trip, but I know there is more to see that I didn’t get a chance to, so I hope one day I get to go back.
